Thanks for all the help from everybody who pitched in this year. it's been an interesting year and very "productive" for the FordFamily......grandson, Dominic in July, great nephew, Joshua in October, and grandson, Connor in November. We look forward to our final home game and more succes on the road and in the bowl season. Geaux Tigers!!!! Pics of last 2 FFT events to come soon......
Well, the Bama game outcome wasn't victory, but the team sure put forth a great effort...Tigers need to hold heads high and take it to those Mississippi bulldogs.....it's homecoming after all.
Preliminary menu is
Pastalaya ..Assorted snacks and desserts...All home cooks contributions accepted I will be in Houston until later in the week, but if you are bringing something let me know. Kudos to chefs Jay and Eusebio as well as all the others who contributed to last weeks festivities. I am delighted I was able to be there and truly appreciate all the dedicated FFTErs. Food was ALL FABULOUS.... Mama Ford
FFT IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE GUEST CHEFS FOR THE BAMA GAME--------
The one and only JAY Ducote and the "infamous" EUSEBIO Gongora... quite a dynamic duo.....
There is a distinct possibility that there will be NO Baton Rouge Fords in attendance due to such things as the B.R. City Swim Meet Championship, Soccer Games and last but certainly not least a "BIRTH-DAY"...that's right, even Mama and Papa may miss this one for a grandson's arrival in Houston---stay tuned for the outcome>>>>>>>Please carry on in our absence and pull the tigers through!!!!
We are ever so grateful that Jay and UCBO decided to make this their game to grill etc....If you would like to contribute snacks and/or dessert, bring it on.....If Mama is there, she will bring some, but if not, well folks you are on your own!!!!!
The trailer, and the supplies as well as all the FFT stuff will be loaded and ready for Jay to place in the designated spot on Friday, if Charlie is in Houston.....If you can help set up, show up EARLY Saturday morning to help!!!!
So, I really don't know what's on the menu, but I do know it will be top notch delicious.
Bama will be a FFT with a different twist, maybe our team will follow suit--"BRING IT!"
First test is behind us,and a few more "warm-up" games to come, with anticipation of the SEC schedule nearby. FFT is ready for cooler weather and big crowds. Enjoyed all the Washington fans stopping by. We hope your experience at LSU was memorable-I know you enjoyed the tailgating, at least.....Here is next weeks menu.....
Well, I guess now it's a tradition to start any season with North Texas, with a Tropical Storm/Hurricane.....not exactly the optimum way to begin, but being Tigers, we will combine our Hurricane Parties with our Tailgate parties.
Hoping to get this 2012 Tiger Season going with a big win over the "Mean Green" and to seeing all of you for our first Night game in Tiger Stadium in a very long time. Why I'll drink to that! Menu is below and hope to see you all there.
